Mother Teresa
Mother Teresa was a daughter of a Albanian woman and a Aromanian
Man and was born on August 26 1910 in Skopje, the capital of the Republic of Macedonia. Her really name was Agnes. Agnes left home at the age of 18 to join the sisters of Loreto as a missionary.
Agnes at first wanted to be a teacher and went to Ireland to learn English to teach the children in India how to speak English and in 1992 arrived in India and began her novitiate in Darjeeling
Although Mother Teresa enjoyed teaching children she was disturbed by the poverty surrounding her and she left. After she had left mother Teresa started up a school for the poor
and relied on divine providence. She was soon joined by volunteer workers. In 1950 Mother Teresa became a Roman Catholic and founded the
Missionaries’ charity nun in kolkata India and in 1947 started to help the poor, sick, orphaned and dying for over forty year, while expanding the Missionaries charity through the world.
In 1965 the charity became an international religious family.
By the 1970 Mother Teresa hand become famous to the world for sick and
the helping the poor. She won the Nobel peace prize and soon became
the angle of mercy and saint to the gutter.
When mother Teresa died she was given the title blessed by pope
John Paul II. Mother Teresa was a great woman who lived life to the full by helping others and she really was blessed.
